Cortimo ("Service") is an AI-powered assistant platform operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Cortimo, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Upload or process harmful, abusive, or unlawful content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the Service

4. Subscriptions, Usage & Payments
Cortimo operates on a subscription-based model. Payments are processed via Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you agree to recurring billing according to your selected plan and automatic renewal unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
Each subscription plan includes defined usage limits. You acknowledge that:
- Usage is tracked and enforced by the system
- Exceeding limits may result in restricted access or require an upgrade
- Unused usage does not roll over unless explicitly stated
- Use of the Service generates real costs through third-party providers
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.
5. Fair Use & Abuse Prevention
You agree not to exploit the Service in a way that results in excessive, abusive, or unreasonable resource consumption. We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and may, at our sole discretion, limit or throttle usage, suspend or terminate accounts, restrict access to features, or deny refund requests if we determine that usage is abusive, excessive, or intended to exploit the Service.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Due to the nature of the Service and real-time costs incurred from third-party providers, refunds may not be granted once the Service has been used beyond minimal levels.
7. User Data & Content
You retain ownership of any data, content, or materials you upload or process through the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You are solely responsible for the legality of your data and ensuring you have rights to use and process such data.

Cortimo uses artificial intelligence technologies. You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. The Service is provided for informational and productivity purposes only. You must not rely on the Service for legal advice, financial decisions, medical guidance, or any critical or high-risk use cases.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services, APIs, and providers. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services, their data handling practices, or any loss or damage caused by third-party services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties regarding reliability, accuracy, or availability. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, or damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service.
11. Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and data may be deleted in accordance with our policies.
